The Script
Know what you want to say. Then make sure the audience hears it.
The Script is Bedlam’s producer-led method for turning ideas into a clear, credible performance. It helps leaders focus the message, shape the language, rehearse the delivery, and stay connected to the audience when the moment matters.
You are always on stage as a leader.
Act I
Stage Directions:
How you hold the room
Presence is not about becoming bigger. The Script teaches control, intimacy and attention: lead with your eyes, read the audience, resist over-performing, keep the lead visible, and guide listeners through the message instead of forcing them to connect the dots themselves.
Act II
Producer / Director notes:
How you deliver it
Once the message is clear, the producer’s job is to direct the performance. Know the opening cold. Make familiar material sound fresh. Ask the “so what?” question. Use pauses intentionally. Get rid of filler. Retake the stage when a conversation is hijacked. And leave unnecessary backstory on the cutting-room floor.
Act III
The Leading Role:
What the audience takes away
The final act brings message and performance together. Identify the big idea. Distill each paragraph. Choose the operative words. Score the script for emphasis and pacing. Rehearse the technical environment. Know the intention behind the moment.
