Bedlam Productions Inc. was proud to produce the First Annual Summit for Women in Academic Medicine! This University of Toronto Summit will feature women leaders in medicine and took place on March 1 and 2, 2017 at the Faculty Club at the University of Toronto.

Bedlam’s Executive Producer Amy Kopelan moderated the “MythBusters” Roundtable with four exceptionally provocative panelists:

Jessica Ching, Co-Founder, Eve Medical
Ellen DiVerniero, Head of Talent Management, Aetna
Teressa Moore Griffin, Founder and CEO, Spirit of Purpose
Catherine Zahn, President and CEO, CAMH

Dr. Gillian Hawker, Chair of Medicine, and Dr. Sharon Straus, Vice-Chair of Mentorship, Equity and Diversity invited DoM female* faculty members to gather for a day of inspiration and action!

Attendees heard from women leaders in medicine and a range of other disciplines, and had an opportunity to build leadership skills, network with female colleagues and lend their voices to an action plan to increase gender equity within the Department of Medicine.
