Media Training

We all know that no great actor would ever want to take the stage or step in front of a camera or microphone without being totally prepared: that means being well-directed and well-rehearsed. We also know that no professional can truly perform at her/his best without customized instruction, significant preparation, rehearsal and what we call individual “producing.” Our very effective approach is called Crossing the Footlights TM

Crossing the Footlights TM prepares you the way actors prepare for stage and screen. No taping to make you uncomfortable. No embarrassing or scary moments. No “skill sets” that everyone has to memorize. Instead, we work with you like you’re in an actor’s studio. We direct you. We rehearse you. we give you the “read” and we make sure you influence and impact your audience. We cover message development, speeches, presentations, moderating, serving on a panel, going on the air, and handling the curve balls. We make sure you deliver a command performance. Every time.

Individual Programs:

We work with executives and professionals. We like to “produce” one-on-one so that the attention is undivided. We customize the time and focus for each individual client. Individual work can cover a broad spectrum: from board meetings to a sales retreat, or from scripting your sound byte to prepping for a television news interview.

Amy at ICAN 2014Group Programs:

We also work with small groups of talented people, often inside of larger organizations, so teams can prepare and rehearse together. We present programs at large symposiums and at leadership conferences about how to take the stage, deliver with clarity and hold an audience. We work with a set of commandments that we’ve developed from our experience in the media and on the stage that will become your trusted guides to creating a natural, approachable and powerful presence.

Educational Presentations:

We deliver educational presentations for emerging talent about their opportunities to be leaders in front of an audience.
