RBC Royal Bank Becomes a Major Player at The Corporate State Summit


The Corporate State: Toronto Summit is proud to welcome RBC Royal Bank as a new Sponsor for the May 17, 2017 Summit. Kim Mason, Senior Vice President, Personal & Commercial Banking – Operations, Business Operations & Service Support for RBC Royal Bank, will take the stage to deliver the Summit’s Closing Keynote.


As a key member of RBC’s Canadian Banking Operations leadership team, Kim is responsible for maximizing the performance and productivity across the bank’s national Operations team comprised of close to 4000 employees. In this role, she is dedicated to increasing innovation, agility and efficiency in order to deliver an exceptional client and employee experience as RBC continues its journey to becoming a digitally enabled relationship bank.

If you are not familiar with Kim, you should be! She was named one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence for 2013 by Women of Influence Magazine, and was most recently named one of WXN Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women for 2014. She is also a graduate of Rotman’s “Judy Project” and the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).

Prior to assuming her current role, Kim served as Regional President, Greater Toronto for RBC, leading a team of 4,000 employees in providing financial advice and services to RBC’s personal, small business and commercial clients in Greater Toronto. Kim has held a wide variety of increasingly responsible regional and national office positions in RBC, including Regional President, Atlantic Provinces as well as roles in Retail and Commercial Banking, Global Payments and Trade, and executive responsibilities in Contact Centres and Retail Banking.  In her Keynote, Kim will dive into the new way technology and banking will change people’s lives.
