Bedlam Productions Inc. welcomed Let Girls Lead and Executive Director Denise Dunning to New York this week to shine a spotlight on the phenomenal work of the Let Girls Lead organization. Denise spoke to 16 top influential New York women business leaders who signed on to help her build the New York chapter of the Let Girls Lead Leadership Council.

Let Girls Lead is transforming girls’ lives. Everywhere. Let Girls Lead is building a global movement of leaders to ensure that girls can finish school, stay healthy, escape poverty, and overcome violence. Their externally validated model impacts nearly 40 million girls in Africa and Central America, and now the U.S., beginning in Mississippi. Let Girls Lead invests in visionary girl leaders and organizations through leadership and organizational strengthening, funding, advocacy, and storytelling.

Let Girls Lead builds a better future by enabling leaders to improve laws, policies, funding and programs for girls.

One of the Let Girls Lead change agents is Memory Banda, a young Malawi girl whose courageous actions helped bring about the outlawing of child marriage in Malawi.
