Ami Kaplan must have the key to a secret energy reserve! A Senior Partner at Deloitte, she has just taken on a new term as President of the Women’s Forum of New York – an organization of 450+ prominent women leaders who are dedicated to advancing women’s leadership. The Forum accomplishes its goals on three fronts: through core programming for members, through their Education Fund which awards grants to high-potential women whose careers have been derailed by adversity, and through their Board Initiative which expands and extends the contribution of women leaders through participation on corporate and civic boards.

In her professional role at Deloitte, Ami is a dynamic and innovative thinker, advising some of Deloitte’s largest and most complex global financial services clients on business, risk management and other financial and organizational challenges. Ami is a member of the Office of the Regional Managing Partner and Executive Committee, and serves as the Lead Client Services Partner and Advisory Partner to many of Deloitte’s Office of the CEO Strategic Clients.

Ami is also a member of New York and New Jersey State Societies of CPA , AICPA, Financial Women’s Association, and The Economic Club of New York.  In previous positions with Deloitte, She has served as Deloitte’s National Managing Partner for Marketing and Business Development, Deputy Managing Partner of the Enterprise Risk Services Practice and founder and National Managing Partner of the Internal Audit Practice.

Ami began her career in the financial services industry as an Audit Partner and has been with Deloitte & Touche for over 25 years. In addition, she was the first Partner-in-Charge of the Women’s Initiative for the Tri-State Region and remains actively engaged in the Diversity and Inclusion and Women’s Initiative programs.

An accomplished public speaker, Ami has addressed numerous businesses, professional and educational forums. She has been featured as the cover subject of Working Women Magazine and appeared on CNN.
