Sidneyeve Matrix, Queen’s National Scholar and Associate Professor in the Department of Media and Film at Queen’s University and a prominent digital trends analyst for national media, will be one of our featured panelists on the “Sensitivity Training” Roundtable at the October 2, 2012 Corporate State: Toronto CEO summit at First Canadian Place.

She’ll be a lead speaker on this panel as we explore how the innovations in the digital world are all having a profound impact on the way we communicate, interact and establish a new set of competencies for the future. We’ll discuss how and why employers must harness new competencies, educators re-think approaches to learning, and individuals develop a new protocol toolkit.

Sidneyeve teaches courses in mass communications, marketing, digital and social media for undergrads, as well in the Queen’s School of Business Executive Development Centre and for Rutgers University Center for Management Development. Her provocative presentations on innovation in higher ed and educational technology regularly bring sell-out audiences, and she is always looking for news ways to design learning experiences using the digital tools of today.
