AMY DORN KOPELAN, President and Founder
Amy Dorn Kopelan has over 20 years’ experience as an ABC television executive and independent conference producer. As President of Bedlam Productions Inc., Amy interviews leading business innovators, moderates panels, speaks at industry conferences, and trains industry executives to deliver strong live/video presentations. In 2009 she created a program for corporations and campuses called “Producing Your Career” that helps business professionals and leaders take control of their own careers.
Amy is the co-author of I Didn’t See It Coming, which teaches business professionals how to avoid being blindsided in business. She has been featured on FOX and Friends, Business Week online, On The Money, in CEO Magazine, Business Week, Chief Learning Officer Magazine, and CNN.com.
Amy is committed to creating opportunities for women to learn and advance in today’s market. She teaches at the ICAN conference in Omaha, The Grace Institute in New York, and CCNY. She is a member of The International Women’s Forum and The Alliance for Women in Television and serves as an advisor to The Grace Institute and The Institute for Career Advancement Needs.
KATHERINE LEASK, Director of Conferences/Presenting Artist
With over a decade of special events production experience in both the non-profit and for-profit arenas, Katherine Leask oversees all operational phases of conference production and management for Bedlam Productions Inc. Prior to joining Bedlam in 1999, she worked extensively with Lorelei Enterprises on such major accounts as The National Urban League, New York Landmarks Conservancy, UNCF, French-American Foundation, and Scenic Hudson. As an independent Event Consultant, she has worked with such clients as the American Health Foundation, Italy-America Fund, and Historic Hudson Valley, providing everything from event planning to on-site management services to specialized calligraphy.
As a performer, Katherine has worked with numerous clients in the production of major national trade shows and product launches, particularly with such companies as Pfizer, IBM and Apple.
A veteran actor and director in stage, television, commercials and voiceovers, Katherine has performed Off-Broadway and at major theatres throughout the United States, and in Europe.
ELLEN DiVERNIERO, Director of Sales
Ellen DiVerniero has overall responsibility for the client consultation and sales of the Bedlam suite of products and services. She is the former Global Head of Talent Sourcing and Development for JPMorgan Chase responsible for firm-wide talent management, all corporate experienced and entry level staffing, succession planning and leadership development. Ellen’s group managed the firm-wide talent review strategy, senior executive talent reviews, and activities to support the mobility and redeployment of top internal talent. In addition, Ellen managed the centralized curriculum of leadership and effectiveness training. Ellen is known for effectively overlaying a business practicality to a creative roll-out and management of talent-focused products and services.
JOANNE BERG ALTER, Editorial Director
Joanne L. Berg is a senior editorial and content development executive with extensive experience developing content for the web. At ABC and Disney, Joanne launched the original Oprah website, in partnership with Harpo Productions; developed ABC Daytime Online, and was part of the launch team for Episodes Magazine, a lifestyle magazine for ABC Daytime. Joanne spent seven years building LearningExpress, an online test prep company, including conceiving and launching state-of-the art websites. Most recently, Joanne oversaw a brand-new initiative for Triumph Learning, an educational publisher.
